Whew....

It has been a whirlwind of a summer to say the least!  I apologize I havn't updated in a while but I will try to be better.  We have had several missionaries with us over the last few months, we have had a guest Pastor from Georgia that is praying about coming to Maine to plant a church, we also had our second annual VBS which was a great success with two children trusting Christ as their Saviour!  Over the summer we have voted to take on two more missionaries which brings the total of missionaries we are supporting to 3 missionaries, praise God!  I am thankful for the work of these men and their families as well as those we have not been able to financially support but we are praying for!  We are getting ready to ordain my good friend Chad Colburn on Sunday at Church Hill Baptist Church in Augusta, Maine which is going to be a thrilling part of this year! I have had the privilidge of working with him for the last 6 months at U.S. Cellular but he was blessed with the ability to be full time at South Liberty Baptist Church after being voted in as their pastor a few weeks ago!  We also have our Missions Conference in October which will be our first annual Missions Conference and we are praying that God will provide through faith promise the funds for us to continue to grow our missions support!  We are praying that God will provide us a piece of property for us to build a Meeting House on as He wills it and in the meen time we are opening a building account to begin saving for the piece of land and building!  In January I will be going to Oklahoma for the Church Planters Conference to try and raise support for our building project!  It is exciting to see all that God is doing in Unity, Maine at Bible Baptist Church!

On another note we could use your prayer about the above mentioned things but also for our son Caleb.  He has a lumb on his neck due to swolen lymphnodes.  They are not sure what it is at this point but we are praying we can get the doctors to agree to a biopsy so we can have some answers.  There is a possiblity that it is lymphoma/cancer of the lymphnodes as well as some other possiblities but we would like to know and be able to have piece of mind or get the treatments necessary!  My older son Elijah also had a seizure Sunday afternoon and stopped breathing for a short time and turned blue.  It was certainly the scariest few moments of my life but through all that is going on good and bad God is good!  Please, pray for some other unspoken prayer requests!  There is a lot going on right now and Erika, the kids, and I have had a rough few weeks.  We know God will get us through and have already seen His hand at work through it all!  We do however covet your prayers and look forward to seeing what God has instore on the other side of the trials! Thank you and keep on living for Jesus!  Glory I'm Saved!!!!!!!
